The Duffel Bag for stylish gentleman

Here is Style SA type of bag that are both fool-proof and extremely suitable for any aspiring stylish gentleman

The Duffel Bag/Holdall

If in doubt, this should really be your go-to. It’s the default option because it can perform multiple functions on a daily basis while still retaining an element of style.
It’s ideal for the gym goer who likes to keep their gear close to hand. The perfect companion for the weekenders who exclusively carry-on. And for anyone who tries to live anything resembling an interesting life outside of work, it’s basically your portable wardrobe.
Pick one that is a medium size (i.e. not too small nor too big) and if possible opt for a leather version in brown. Leather is more versatile than canvas, especially when it comes to selecting an all-purpose bag, and will go with most looks you put together:

How to Develop Your Style

BY: Staff Member

With so many choices out there, translating self-expression into fashion isn't always easy. Picking out clothing is one thing, but choosing accessories is an entirely separate process that can make or break an outfit. With the right techniques, you can use accessories to develop your personal sense of style.

Look for Inspiration

Browse fashion magazines and websites for inspiration from your favorite celebrities. Use the web to your advantage and search for photos featuring those celebrities in both casual and formal outfits. Don't forget to check out fashion blogs, as they're a great source for styling tips from "real people".

Find Your Trademark Accessory

Make every outfit your own with a trademark fashion piece. It can be anything from your favorite necklace to that adorable knitted beret. And if you like to switch things up? Choose a type of accessory, instead of a single item.

Pick and Choose Trends

While fashion blogs are all about keeping you up-to-date with the hottest trends, this doesn’t mean you have to follow each and every one. Instead, take on the trends that call out to you the most. This is a foolproof way to update your wardrobe without sacrificing your individual taste.

Take Chances

This is the number one rule of fashion. It goes without saying heads won’t turn when someone does something normal. While you don’t have to wear crazy outfits, don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. Try something a little different, whether it’s switching out the dainty bracelet for a wrist full of bangles, or wearing a new combination of accessories. The beauty of fashion is that you can experiment as much -- or as little -- as you want.

The Beautiful Photographic Art Space of Jacklyn Adams

BY: Anelisa Nokoyo

Jacklyn Adam’s new work is something to behold indeed! I came across it when I was net-surfing this weekend and I have to say, what lovely art. Jacklyn Adams is an international photographer, currently based in Europe, but is from Australia and her work invokes a spirit of artfulness in even the most timid if us. She has a way of capturing images in a way that shows the true beauty of that moment, every moment.
There is something organic and non- commercial about her work and it seems to be bringing so much joy to various bloggers and alternative art-lovers all round. She clearly knows how to work well with any given space, to get a perceptual feel of her work on a personal level, and that enables her to deliver to us her own vision through the camera lens. It is as if her camera were an extension of her own eyes in high-definition. She’s done work for the Ralph Lauren Story for DV, Lola, Axel and Jesper, and her latest work (which is what attracted me to her) with model Annabella Barber for Swedish magazine Plazza Kvina.

Orange Culture

BY Anelisa Nokoyo

This week we’re featuring a little-known designer to our shores but his work speaks for itself so it compelled me to convey it to you or share it. Orange culture is the name of the brand and the designer is Adebayor Oke-Lawal a life-lover from Nigeria. His work is all about the celebration of colour and complexity. For him colour represents this complexity in people which is a burst of energy. Penned as more than just a label, the brand has now become a lifestyle, being endorsed by international media in the form of Vogue UK and local Nigerian stars alike.
In just a matter of a couple of years, the designer has managed to catapult the line into what it is today and that is largely because he has been designing since the age of ten so fashion is his passion so he is merely living out a dream, and it’s a beautiful representation of creativity. From Orange Culture there are three collections out do far, namely, Summer Quirk, which is a line that was initially created for a model search show in Nigeria. After that we find elusive strength and The Heartbroken. The collections are beautiful and their site really delves in deeper to the philosophy behind the designs. You can enjoy more of his collections here

Watch this space: Victoria Spruce

BY Anelisa Nokoyo

Victoria Spruce

Victoria Spruce is a London based footwear designer with a penchant for unconventional shoe designs and cuts. Her biggest inspiration comes from architectural design and sculpture. With a MA in women’s footwear design at the Royal College of Art and a Hons in footwear design from Cordwainers London College of Fashion, she’s set to take the world of footwear fashion by storm! This 25-year old dynamic artist has immaculate skill and precision when it comes to her cuts, and with her creativity she’s already being compared to Manolo Blahnik. She released a few design samples last year but she hasn’t officially started selling yet, but when she does we’ll definitely be the first to report it! But until then we shall lust over some of her designs and concepts and place orders via here
