ZARA DOES DURBAN

BY ifashion.co.za

Zara opens second South African store in Durban`s Gateway Mall

Following months of speculation the Spanish retail brand Zara will open a second store at Durban's Gateway mall on March 2. The store, covering 1,700sqm over one floor, is roughly the same size as the Johannesburg store and will follow a similar interior aesthetic: architecture that divides and orders the space, the design scheme demarcates the shop’s register areas and creates a central expanse that becomes the focus of attention: looks are constructed around themes. Fashion, real fashion, becomes a one-two-three block-building game.

Zara is one of the world's leading retailers - interpreting high-end design trends into classical, yet affordable pieces. As with Johannesburg, Zara Durban will stock a small collection designed specifically for the Southern Hemisphere.
